Stage 1: Beginners course

This is the kayakcourse for you, who have never been paddling before.  We go through all the fundemantal of seakayaking like; mapreading, the „anatomy„ of the kayak, how to get in and out of the kayak,  forward and backward paddling, sweepstroke, wet exit and a practical introduction to basic rescue techniques. This course offers you great knowlegde of seakayaking to use when paddling with friends or close to shore.

Including seakayak instructor, fully equipped kayak, wetsuite.
Time: 3- 4 houres. Courses every day from the 1st of May to the 31 st of October.

Stage 2 : Safety

The course is for you who has been paddling a little bit before or has participated in stage 1 or similar course. We practice different types of rescueing tecniques, paddlefloat rescueing, equipment knowlegde and towing. The course offres you secure and safe methods to use even when you paddle alone.

Time: 3-4 houres
Course every day from the 1st of May to the 31st of October.

Stage 3 Advanced paddle tecniques.

We refine our paddletecniques. We practice  on edgeing the kayak, diffrent types of stearing strokes like bowdraw, sterndraw, sideway movements, high, low brace and sculling as an introduction to rolling. This knowlegde gives you better skills on the water and a more dynamic paddling.

Time: 2-3 houres.

Including seakayak instructor and a fully equipped kayak, wetsuite + an dvd in the "This is the sea" series. Time: 3 - 4 hours.

Course every day from the 1 st of May to the 1 st of October.

Seakayaking and outdoor life.

Being kayaking for several days is a wonderful relaxation from a busy  everyday life. Being out several days takes some planning and special knowlegde however. During 2 nights we go through everything you need to know like your first paddlestroke, rescueing tecniques, outdoor tecniques and mapreading. We finish the course by doing a guided weekend tour together to one of the most beautiful spots on the swedish westcoast.  During the tour we use our new skills.
