Alexander Lagerberg Nilsson, Instruktör och Guide

Hello!

My name is Alex Lagerberg, and I come from Kristinehamn in Värmland, on the shores of Lake Vänern. These days I live in Mörsil (about 30 minutes from Åre), and I see it as a welcome break from my “regular” job to spend some time kayaking in the beautiful Bohuslän archipelago.

 

My interest in paddling really took off during an outdoor education program at a folk high school. I’m very interested in paddling technique and understanding the most efficient way to get a kayak where we want it to go. When we paddle efficiently, we can stay out on the water longer—and have even more fun while we’re there.

 

What I find so exciting about sea kayaking is its versatility. I enjoy quietly gliding across mirror-calm water and taking in the natural surroundings just as much as heading out to play in the waves.

I’m passionate about creating safe, enjoyable, and playful paddling experiences where we can explore, learn, and develop new skills together.

 

You’ll find me on the water during courses and guided tours, in the shop, or out in the sunshine at the rental center.
