Bookings and cancellations at Nautopp Kajakcenter Grebbestad.

Same terms for everything!

We have the same terms for all of our activities what ever you are booked on a guided tour or want to rent kayaks and equipment. Notice that some of the hotels we cooperate with have other cancellation terms - please ask us when you make a booking.



Bookings are treated the same whatever they are done by e-mail, phone, online or personal in our shop. When you do a booking we normally charge you 100% of the total amount and you get a booking confirmation online from our booking system. If you do a manual booking by email we put the booking together for you and send you the confirmation online together with a payment request. We kindly ask you to pay through the link within a week to keep the booking. We have the same cancellation policy for all of our activities. Notice that accommodations might have other cancellation policies - please ask when doing a package booking.


Cancellation policy

If you wish to cancel a tour or activity you should be aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel 21 days or more before departure of a tour/ beginning of an activity we only charge you 150,- SEK. Cancellation between 20 and 8 days before an activity or tour youʼll get 75% of the total amount in return that means that if you have paid a 25% deposit we will keep that. Cancellation between 7 and 1 days before the activity youʼll get 50% of the total amount in return which means that will either be charged more or handed money back depending on deposit. If you cancel the same day or doesnʼt show up weʼll charge you the total amount and youʼll get nothing in return. By acute illness or any other accidents to you, ones fellow-travellers and close family and you have a doctorʼs or insurance company certificate you will get a total refund anyhow. Bookings made with a gift card must be cancelled at least 14 days before otherwise we regard the gift card as used. Nautopp Seakayaking Sweden reserves the right to cancel any tour or activity due to bad weather such as strong winds or thunder. Rain is no reason to cancel when sea kayaking. Nautopp takes no responsibility for tickets or booked hotel rooms or anything else that has affected the participants caused by cancellation or a late return according to bad weather circumstances. If we have to cancel a tour or activity due to such circumstances we try to move the activity to an other area or date and we do not charge you extra for that or a total refund is given if you have already paid.
Decisions made regarding cancelations of trips/ rentals/ activities is ONLY made by Nautopp Kajakcenter Grebbestad and our guides and we always cancel an activity with your safety mind.


Terms for renting kayaks and equipment and all our activities

•When booked your rental over the web you pay 25% as a booking fee the rest is payed for at arrival. You will be sent an confirmation e-mail on your rental enquiry which we will return on with a thumbs up or down. No money will be drawn from your account until everything is confirmed.  

•We expect you to clean the kayak and gear with fresh water then you return the gear. Facilities for that you'll find at our place. If you'll leave the cleaning to us it will cost you 200,- SEK pr kayak. That is also what we charge you if you leave the kayak and equipment unclean. You will be responsible for the kayak and equipment if you leave it behind outside our opening houres. It you are booked on a GUIDED trip we will take care of the cleaning but we expect you to clean the kayak from sand and grawel after use.

•You can pick up your kayak at 10.00 AM and leave it again at 17.00 PM at the same day. When you rent several days or 24 houres you can even pick up your kayak at 17.00 PM and leave it again at 17.00 pm the day after. Please observe the the kayak and equipment must be clean at 17.00 Sometimes we're out on the ocean so please respect the opening houres it you haven't made other agreements with us.

•Nautopp Kajakcenter Grebbestad can not be responsible to people, kayaks or equipment that are not handed in at the center at the end of you rental. We can only offer transport if it's pre-booked and paid for.

•If any equipment or kayaks are damages or stolen when you return then you will need to pay for the damages. Costs will be calculated depending on the damage.

•If the rudder or the skeg is damages when you return the kayak or  the kayak has severe fiberglass damages you'll pay for the repair work and material a cost of starts at 2000,- SEK

•Any delays must be reported to us immediately!

•Please use your buoyancy aid at all times then you are on the water.

•Please let us know if you need tour information and suggested routes for your adventure.
