A self guided 3 day adventure

Self guided 3 days kayak rental package in the heart of the Swedish archipelago. Visit granite islands, sandy beaches, watch birdlife and seals, camp on cosy spots, taste the seafood and experience Swedish culture. Paddle on calm seas among sheltered islands or try the bigger swell - it's all your choice!
Our coastline is friendly with no tides - sometimes a bit windy and sometimes stunningly calm. The many islands and islets give you the possibility to choose a sheltered or more exposed route. In all our self guided packages you'll get fully equipped seakayaks, camping gear( optional), route maps and pick up at the ending point. We also provide you with a weather forecast every evening. This area between Gothenburg and Oslo is a paddlers paradise regarded as the best in Sweden but not so well known outside Scandinavia.
All you need is a sleeping bag, food and your personal clothes and the rest you'll get from us! Choose between a packlage of 3, 5 or 8 days. Our staff will go through the maps and safety instructions with you before leaving. Our kayaks have plenty of room for all your gear so don't forget to enjoy a beer or a nice glass of wine out there in the wild!

 

The archipelago of Fjällbacka 3 days

Experience the Swedish archipelago a worlds class sea kayak destination on a 3 day self guided trip. We meet you at our base Nautopp Kajakcenter Grebbestad. Over a cup of coffee we go through the maps and recommended route. In this area you'll even find many of the most beautiful camping spots on the coastline and you have big chances of seeing seals playing in the sea or watching you from a distance. We'll pick you up again after some wonderful 3 days . The tour requires some prior experience of seakayaking and it is good to have done some basic paddling technique, rescues and feel comfortable with navigation. If you have no prior experience from seakayaking we recommand you to join one of our sea kayak beginner courses "EPP Yellow beginner"or the "Safety and Navigation course" or why no a  Private lessons before leaving.

 

Included:

Basic package

- Practical instructions on land regarding techniques and safety on our local waters
- Fully equipped kayak - (paddel, lifejacket, sprayskirt and pump.)
- Maps, map case and compass. We give you a recommended route with suggestions on camping spots (mix of wilderness camping and camping with service) 
- Pickup at your ending point back to where you started day 3. 
- Cleaning of all equipment efter use.
- Text message every evening with a weather forecast for the next day

This 3 day trip starts on a Fridays through out the season ( May- September) In high season you can even start on Mondays ( June - August)

Preparation for your trip:

If you have limited experience with sea kayaking and especially safety and rescues we suggest that you under take a kayak course to

boost your confidence when out on your adventure.
