Getting there

​

There are several ways to get to Onøy depending on if you want to spent some extra days in the area or go straight to the nearest airport.

COMBINATION OF AIR AND CAR( suitable for those who want to enjoy some extra days in Scandinavia)
Fly into Stockholm by any airline that suits you. Get on a domestic flight to Hemavan in Swedish Lappland with the airline Nextjet. www.nextjet.se
In Hemavan you rent a car at the airport from www.mabi.se and drive along the stunning "Blåa vägen) ( "Blue route") to Mo i Rana. ( 97 km) On your way you pass wonderful area of mountains, glaciers and streams. 
Spend a night in Mo I Rana and follow road 12 to Stokkvågen 72 km. Further along the road it splits up and you chose road 17 to Stokkvågen.
From Stokkvågen you park the car and enter the ferry which will take you to Onøy ( 30 minutes) where we'll wait for you at the pier. Payment by credit card or cash in the salon of the ferry.

By air to Mo i Rana
A lot of airlines in Europe fly into Oslo - some of the Scandinavian ones are:
www.sas.se or www.norwegian.com. These airlines also offer domestic flights in Norway.
Widerøe airlines www.wideroe.no also offer great connections to either Mo i Rana or Sandnessjøen.
From Mo i Rana you either continue the trip by buss 18-191 to Stokkvågen or order a taxi www.motaxi.no

By air to Sandnessjøen
A lot of airlines in Europe fly into Oslo - some of the Scandinavian ones are www.sas.se or www.norwegian.com. These airlines also offer domestic flights in Norway.
Widerøe airlines www.wideroe.no also offer great connections to either Mo i Rana or Sandnessjøen.
From Sandnessjøen you continue the trip to Onøy by ferry ( Træna route 18-191) from the center of town. It's takes you to Onøy within 1,2 hours.
